Multi Trader - Social Housing

Locations: Knowsley, Salford & Oldham
Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate (12 Week Temporary Period) → £34,000 Permanent Salary

The Role

We are currently recruiting for experienced Multi Traders to work on a social housing contract covering Knowsley, Salford and Oldham.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor, initially on a temporary basis with the opportunity to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks, offering a salary of £34,000 per annum.

You will be responsible for carrying out a variety of maintenance and repair works within occupied and void social housing properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and delivering excellent customer service to residents.

Key Responsibilities

• General day-to-day repairs and maintenance within social housing properties
• Carrying out multi-skilled works including:
  • Joinery
  • Basic Plumbing
  • Patch Plastering
  • Tiling Repairs
  • Painting & Decorating
  • General Property Maintenance
• Working in occupied and void properties
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently
• Ensuring work is completed safely and in line with company standards
• Maintaining excellent customer relationships with tenants and residents

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Multi Trader within social housing, property maintenance, or repairs
• Strong all-round trade skills
• Experience working in occupied properties preferred
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Good communication and customer service skills
