Job Description:

Recruit4staff are representing a leading luxury travel business in their search for a Travel Sales Executive to work remotely across the UK.

Job Details:

• Pay: £28,000 per annum + Commission Structure
• Hours of Work: 4 days per week – 3 weekdays between Monday and Friday (within operating hours of 9am–8:30pm), plus one weekend day (Saturday 9am–5:30pm or Sunday 10am–6pm)
• Duration: Permanent

Job Role: As a Travel Sales Executive, you will identify customers' travel requirements through effective questioning and use multiple suppliers, booking platforms and systems to create suitable bespoke holidays. You will provide personalised recommendations, overcome objections and confidently close sales while working towards and exceeding booking targets. The Travel Sales Executive will process payments securely, confirm all elements of each booking and accurately load and verify holiday details within the back-office system. You will also deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships that encourage repeat business.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding daily sales targets within a Travel Sales Executive or similar sales-focused role
• Previous experience within a travel agency or travel call centre environment
• Experience delivering exceptional customer service, professionally handling enquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Ability to provide personalised travel recommendations that meet or exceed customers' expectations
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
• Proficient in packaging multiple travel products to create bespoke itineraries
• Experience using Global Distribution Systems (GDS)

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Strong worldwide destination knowledge and the confidence to advise and inspire customers as a Travel Sales Executive
• Familiarity with a wide range of supplier websites and booking platforms
• Proven ability to sell luxury European, worldwide or cruise holidays and tailor recommendations to individual customer requirements
• High level of computer literacy with the ability to navigate multiple systems quickly and accurately
• Travel and Tourism qualification, such as an NVQ, BTEC or Level 2/3 Diploma in Travel and Tourism
• GDS training or certification, such as Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo
• Sales or customer service training/certification
• Additional spoken or written languages may be beneficial for international travel sales

Additional Information

• This is a fully remote, UK-wide Travel Sales Executive position
• Home-working equipment will be provided
• Initial training will include two weeks at the company's headquarters in Chester, with accommodation provided
