Job Description:

QUANTITY SURVEYOR - MEASURED TERM CONTRACT

Location: Liverpool/North West
Type: Temp to Perm basis

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team, working across social housing, roofing and cladding projects under Measured Term Contracts.

The successful candidate will have strong commercial experience and a good understanding of MTC frameworks, ideally with experience working for a main contractor, specialist contractor, housing provider or local authority.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing the commercial aspects of MTC contracts
• Preparing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts
• Cost control, forecasting and financial reporting
• Measurement and pricing of works
• Managing variations, compensation events and contract changes
• Reviewing subcontractor accounts and payments
• Supporting procurement and subcontractor management
• Liaising with clients, contract managers, site teams and supply chain
• Ensuring works are accurately measured and valued in accordance with the contract
• Monitoring commercial performance and identifying risks and opportunities

About you:

• Proven Quantity Surveying experience
• Experience with Measured Term Contracts
• Background in social housing, roofing, cladding or planned maintenance
• Relevant QS qualification
